In national and key battleground states, the turnaround from four years ago among voters 65 and over is striking. They went strongly for Trump in 2016 and now are solidly with Biden.

Experts and political strategists say this undoubtedly reflects concerns over Trump's mishandling of the Coronavirus pandemic, which disproportionately affects older voters. Those 65 or older are 16 percent of the population, but account for 80 percent of the more than 210,000 U.S. deaths, higher than the percentage of overall death rate of seniors.

Agreed. The very people who have been supporting Trump now feel he's betrayed them. No wonder mail-in ballots are setting records. I expect Early Voting, a favorite of Boomers, will set records too. I'll be going next week.

I went back and forth whether to go early or mail my ballots in, I mailed it in.

How did you like Abbott trying real hard to limit drop off boxes and the courts slapping him down? I tried to call his office for three days, could not get through. People were not happy.

Good for the Courts. It's unAmerican to deliberately seek to disenfranchise American citizens.
 
Attacking Social Security near an election is not wise. He offended the base that was fooled by him the most in 2016.
