What part can be attributed to the security provided by a well regulated and heavily armed millitia? A gun behind every blade of grass?
Is it true that a megalomaniac intent on ruling the world did not invade Switzerland because he needed somewhere safe to store his prizes of war?
Would Israel still exist if not for the strength of her arms?
