I remember when leftists used to LOVE Twitter.

More importantly, I remember when leftists LOVED them some Elon Musk. I think it is safe to say that most everyone who owns a Tesla is a lefty. What is so awesome about that, is that lefties who own a Tesla actually helped to get Trump elected.

How many of you JPP lefties own a Tesla?

What is even better about it is that they can't just sell it without taking a HUGE loss.

A new analysis of National Highway Transportation and Safety Administration auto-crash data shows that TeslaTSLA $352.55 (3.82%) has the highest rate of fatal accidents among all car brands in the US.

The study was conducted by automotive research firm iSeeCars, which looked at 2018-22 model-year vehicles in crashes where at least one occupant died, during the years of 2017-22 (with 2022 being the most recent full year of data).

iSeeCar’s analysis calculated a rate based on the total number of miles driven, which was estimated from the company’s car data from over 8 million vehicles on the road. While the total rate of fatal accidents per billion miles driven by all vehicles was 2.8, Tesla vehicles overall had a rate of 5.6. Tesla’s Model Y SUV had fatal accident rate of 10.6, more than double the average for SUVs, which was 4.8.

Tesla’s cars do get high vehicle-safety ratings, consistently receiving five stars from the NHTSA’s rating program. Tesla cites data that shows Tesla vehicles using the company’s “autopilot” assisted-driving technology are safer than the US average (for all vehicle accidents), and that according to NHTSA data, Tesla vehicles have the lowest probability of injury in all the cars that the agency has tested.

While Tesla’s vehicles may be packed with advanced safety features, their drivers also may be paying less attention to the road, or assuming their car can do more than the marketing claims.

Tesla is currently facing a NHTSA investigation into its “full self-driving” feature, which has been involved with at least one pedestrian death and several accidents.

Did you post here when Joe Capitalist did? He was a liberal guy and most of his threads were about Tesla's and EV's and mocking Trump supporters for not supporting EV's. Unless he changed his handle he doesn't post here anymore but if he did I think you would have just given him a heart attack.

I was thinking about that the other day. Musk went from being the darling of us on the Left to a sociopath dudebro

For me it was the same as when I realized that Steve Jobs was a horrible person and not really a brilliant computer guy.

We in America are TOO QUICK to elevate someone to some mythical status because they have money.

We are too fast to embrace a sociopath if he makes a nice widget we like.

From what I have observed, only upper middle and the more wealthy own Teslers.
Anecdotally, in my neighborhood in the US, that is overwhelmingly Trump territory, I see lots of Teslers.

The only Twitter or X I ever see is that posted here, never was interested in anything offered in 280 characters, comparable to a kid explaining Aristotle, and I never, nor had interest in, owning a Telsa

And if whatever the hell you post above that you think is the best part of the election I only have one piece of advice for you, get out more, a lot more
 
One of MY favorite things is that not only does the GOP now own everything - MAGA owns everything.

There are literally zero excuses. I get that this is a period of gloating. but sooner than we can imagine, MAGA has to govern - and, as promised, fix our problems. Which now - thanks to their leader - includes women being lonely.

No more loneliness now. No more wars, A booming economy. Peace & prosperity that we've never seen before.

These are things we have been promised. I will rejoice if MAGA can deliver.

as usual you missed the point. Leftists buying Teslas put money in Elon Musks pocket who then used his money to help get Trump elected. Get it now or do I need to have a five year old explain it to you?
