There is a difference between holding liberal values and holding leftist ones. The Democrats have moved to the Left and away from anything centrist, or to the left of center.

People don't want government run EVERYTHING. That's what today's Democrat party is about. They are going to tell you what kind of car you can drive, what kind of stove you can have. The government will set the price you pay for a loaf of bread. You will get government run healthcare and no matter how fucked up it is, you will like it. Your kids will go to a government run school where government employees will indoctrinate them. Your position in society will be determined by government rules according to your race, gender, sexual orientation, and anything else the government wants to sort you out by.

THAT, and more, today is the Democrat party, and people don't like it. People may not like Trump much, but he's not a Leftist and people know it. They voted the Left out of office. Sure, there are still many Leftists in Congress who are still in power because on a local level they can get the votes. On a national level, people don't want anything to do with the fucking Left.

Fiast of all she is a woman Senator that has a very good record on women's affairs, help for the low income / poor and has helped our vets more then any body I know in Congress,
She is also a WAR vet who had her helicopter shot down in war and lost her two legs.
Duckwoth would have been a lot better candidate for President.
