Yes, everyone knows we need to crack down on Visa overstays and birth tourism as well. I wonder if Bourbon is in favor of stepping up deportations of people who overstay their Visas???

I don't think immigrants negatively impact our economy.
Capitalism does a lot more to eliminate jobs, benefits, income, security, retirement, and the American dream than immigrants do. Relentless wealth extraction saps hopes and dreams more than immigrants do.
The reason the right is anti-immigrant is because they only perilously cling to power as the demographics turn against them. It is a sad fight against time and the inevitable that they cling to. They don't want more Hispanics because they historically vote against Republicans. That is also evident in Republican's tremendous objection to birthright citizenship.
The right is alienating themselves from the rest of society. We are witnessing the slowly unfolding event as their hatred consumes them.
