Only One President Not related to English Royalty? (It isn't who you think it is)...

If you work at it long enough most of the people in the world could probably be traced back to some individual in history

And supposedly Obama and Reagan had Irish roots, meaning they had a counter English royalty gene in their DNA

Eh, were Reagan & Obama's Irish roots Catholic or Protestant!?

It does best make a difference.

Most likely Catholic given that the relatives lived in the Republic of Ireland, and you are correct, JFK would be a third, and I am sure there are others

Martin Van Buren. President number 8...

Van Buren was a Dutch New Yorker. He spoke Dutch as his first language, and spoke English as a second language. He even had trouble with English at times. He might be the only American President not to have ancestry in the British Isles (I could be wrong there, but off the top of my head, I think that is accurate).

The name Biden is Anglo-saxon - Joe's direct ancestor William Biden was born in Sussex - so Joe probably is related to Edward III, like most people lol.

Biden is part Irish Catholic too.

Who are ( Most) people who are related to English royalty!?

I've never met them in person.

Then again so few around here are English blooded.

They include all US presidents except Van Buren, according to the OP. The average Jack and Jill Wasp, otoh, don’t have an army of genealogists putting their lineage under the microscope.

Many Americans of English stock tend to identify simply as “Americans”.

As WWI hero Alvin York said when the drill sergeant demanded “Don’t you understand English?” - “Nossir, we’re all Americans where I come from.”
