Sometimes one has to wonder, just how many Republicans hate women?


Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.), whose measure banning abortions after 20 weeks was being considered in the House Judiciary Committee, argued against a Democratic amendment to make exceptions for rape and incest by suggesting that pregnancy from rape is rare.

"The incidence of rape resulting in pregnancy are very low," Franks said.

Really? Got any numbers to back that up, Trentie?

Perhaps women should put a dime between their legs to prevent pregnancy?
 
To make the matter worse, our lovely, delusional, Scott Walker-led State of Wisconsin has now passed an obtrusive ultrasound bill forcing women to see their baby in the womb prior to an abortion. Obviously, it gives them the chance to take a peek up women's hoo-ha's too. Of course, this is only if there's abortion clinics left, because the bill also requires doctors in abortion clinics to be hospital-certified, essentially closing the clinics.

Even funnier, or sadder - actually - is the Senate President's reaction when female members of the delegation decide to speak out against the bill:

That was very difficult to watch. That there was any woman in that room willing to allow that pass without first being hauled off to prison is disappointing. They would have taken me out in handcuffs and it would have taken more than one of them. I am not a woman who gets on her knees for this stuff though. I would rather die walking. That's me.

As far as women members vs male members, it's important to remember that you cannot do this to women without the consent of some women. There were slithering slaves in there who enjoy being on their knees and enjoy even more attempting to bring me and other women there with them. I spit in their faces. Also remember that there were men in that room who were fighting for women's human rights. And there are many men who are far better allies than some of these mewling pathetic excuses for women who crawl on the floor.
