Open Impeachment Hearings: Republicans Are Obviously More Partisan Than Democrats

PoliTalker

Diversity Makes Greatness
The impeachment proceedings are the deciding factor.

Democrats are all about the facts of the case, acting very professionally.

Republicans are all about the Democrats, acting very unprofessionally.

Democrats in the hearings are trying to examine what transpired.

Republicans in the hearings are making a mockery of the process, trashing the Constitution, trying to turn the proceedings into a partisan battle.

Republicans are showing themselves to be more committed to their party than they are to the United States of America.

Republicans loyalty to Trump exceeds their loyalty to America, and that's dangerous.

Republicans are prejudiced and operating under the predetermined conclusion that Trump is innocent.

They begin with one pledge, that Trump is innocent, and they are twisting everything else around that one immovable object.

It is sickening to watch.

I feel bad for them. They have lost respect.

Their lack of objectivity is dangerous for America.

Republicans simply refuse to objectively consider the possibility that President Trump is actually guilty.

Nunes said the Mueller Investigation was a failure. (as if that has ANYTHING to do with this impeachment.)

He is only propping up Republican propaganda with a crack like that.

How many of Trump's people have already been convicted?

Counting the latest one, Roger Stone, on Friday?

All those convictions came from the Mueller Investigation.

What is a failure is Republicans ability to be objective.

The impeachment proceedings are the deciding factor.
... of what?

Democrats are all about the facts of the case, acting very professionally.
Lie. They are making shit up because they don't like the President and fear that they can't beat him in 2020. They have made a mockery of the impeachment process.

Republicans are all about the Democrats, acting very unprofessionally.
Inversion Fallacy. That would be the Democrats.

Democrats in the hearings are trying to examine what transpired.
Lie. They are making shit up because they don't like the President and fear that they can't beat him in 2020. They have made a mockery of the impeachment process.

Republicans in the hearings are making a mockery of the process, trashing the Constitution, trying to turn the proceedings into a partisan battle.
Inversion Fallacy. That would all be the Democrats. Here is my list of how Liberals are rejecting the US Constitution. It includes, but is not limited to:

** They reject the limits on the legislative powers of Congress. (thus rejecting Article I)

** They reject the executive powers of the President if they happen to not like the President, and they reject the Electoral College. They reject the proper method and reasoning for removing a President from office. They reject the enumerated duties of a President, especially the duties of preserving/defending/protecting the US Constitution. (thus rejecting Article II)

** They reject the scope and role of SCOTUS and other inferior courts. They believe that SCOTUS are the sole interpreters of the US Constitution. They believe that SCOTUS are oligarchs. (thus rejecting Article III)

** They reject the Republican form of government that is guaranteed to the States. They reject protecting the States from invasions and domestic violence (especially when relating to immigration). (thus rejecting Article IV)

** They reject the formal amendment process, and instead regularly misuse the court system as a "work-around" to that. They wish to transform the USA into the SOA (Socialist Oligarchy of America). (thus rejecting Article V)

** They reject legislating in pursuance of the US Constitution. (thus rejecting Article VI)

** They reject that the States (collectively) are the owners of the US Constitution. (thus rejecting Article VII)

** They also reject many of the Amendments to the Constitution, and actively fight against people's inherent rights (such as the right to have and express an opinion, freedom of religion, right to keep and bear arms, due process, etc...)

Republicans are showing themselves to be more committed to their party than they are to the United States of America.
Inversion Fallacy. That would be the Democrats.

Republicans loyalty to Trump exceeds their loyalty to America, and that's dangerous.
Democrats hate towards Trump exceeds their loyalty to America, and that's dangerous.

Republicans are prejudiced
Inversion Fallacy. That would be the Democrats.

and operating under the predetermined conclusion that Trump is innocent.
Since when is someone "guilty until proven innocent"?? Speaking of which, have you stopped beating your wife yet?

They begin with one pledge, that Trump is innocent,
He IS innocent, dummy... Innocent until proven guilty. What crime has he committed?

and they are twisting everything else around that one immovable object.
That SHOULD be the initial assumption. Innocent until proven guilty.

It is sickening to watch.
Nahhhh, your "guilty until proven innocent" attitude is what is sickening.

I feel bad for them. They have lost respect.
Inversion Fallacy. That would be the Democrats.

Their lack of objectivity is dangerous for America.
Inversion Fallacy. That would be the Democrats. THEY are the ones who are outright rejecting the Constitution as I have explained above...

Republicans simply refuse to objectively consider the possibility that President Trump is actually guilty.

You (and Democrats) simply refuse to objectively consider the possibility that President Trump is actually innocent.

But hey, you referred to him as President... Finally accepting the fact that he is your President is a start... ;)

The OP believes you're guilty until proven innocent......unless you're a Democrat. Then she'll cite the constitution

The Republicans are dancing to the tune dictated by their racist base.

Inversion Fallacy. It is largely the Democrats who are racist. They are the party of the KKK, both then and still to this very day. They are the ones attempting to divide people by their skin color, gender, etc...

Something struck me as I listen to these hearings.

The lawyers all sound the same in a way, both sides. They are all about the nitty gritty. Unpacking the details behind each event, each phone call, meeting, text, etc. That's the way they are whether they are on the Democratic side or the Republican side.

The House Committee Members differ greatly, depending on which side they are on.

Now, the Democrats pretty much sound like the lawyers. They are all about the nitty gritty. Unpacking the details behind each event, each phone call, meeting, text, etc.

The Republicans spend inordinate amounts of time talking about the Democrats, conspiracy theories about the Bidens, and making lots of false statements about constant impeachment attempts, and characterizing the Mueller investigation in a partisan way. Why are they even talking about the Mueller investigation? It has nothing to do with the hearings.

The reason, of course, is that the Republicans have no defense of the President. They have no way to make what happened unhappen.

The President is guilty of attempted bribery in trying to offer already-agreed-upon military aid to Ukraine conditional upon Zelenski making a public announcement of investigations into his pet propaganda theories involving the Bidens and Russian collusion in the 2016 election.

There was no bribery. Why must you continue to lie?? (rhetorical question)

Continued Inversion Fallacies as well...

Continued forgetting that the President is innocent until proven guilty...

IMO Daniel Goldman is running rings around Steve Castor. Castor often seems like he's struggling.

Hello christiefan915,

IMO Daniel Goldman is running rings around Steve Castor. Castor often seems like he's struggling.

Agreed. But of course, Castor doesn't have much to work with. Nit picking at minor details that make no difference to the body of the evidence.
