Kamala Harris's campaign paid more than double what was previously thought to Oprah Winfrey as Democrats continue to fundraise past the election after going into debt to run a presidential bid.

Reports emerged that Harris's campaign paid Winfrey's Harpo Productions $1 million as part of a very pricey and short run for the White House.

But now, the New York Times reports that two people familiar with the matter reveal the full price of the event with Winfrey cost closer to $2.5 million.

Didn't Oprah get almost ten million for one interview with Princess Harry and Meghan?

She has made grifting into an artform.

But it all came across as fake astroturf.

This is one of the major reasons that Harris Lost. She was never genuine.

You don't have to pay real supporters, they donate their efforts.

She would have been far better off getting Jane-Q-Public off the street to endorse her, if the endorsement were genuine.

Kamala Harris and the Democrat Party's prodigious fundraising operation raised more than $1 billion in her loss to President Donald Trump, but the vice president is still pushing donors for more money.

“The Harris campaign certainly spent more than they raised and is now busy trying to fundraise,” said Adrian Hemond, a Democrat strategist. He said he has been asked by the campaign after its loss to President Trump to help with fundraising.

The apparent cash crunch is being blamed for the campaign's decision to stop paying many senior staff as of Saturday, even those initially told they would be paid through the end of the year.

But but but TRUMP!

RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA!

They think that if they keep telling the same lies, and at great enough volume, that people will take it as the truth.

That only works with the Modern Morons.
