I've counted forty-five 'friends' on Facebook so far telling me (people) to vote today. I really feel like asking what are they referring to. Are we suppose to vote to determine the winner of The Voice or American Idol? Is there a phone number I should call in?

They must have forgotten that you are a responsible, married man now, they probably thought you were hung over on the curb somewhere and needed a reminder!

Hahaha!!! I should have been more specific. These were their status updates so the comments weren't directed at me personally. It's just funny when you are scrolling down the news feed and everyone is saying the same thing.

Oh, okay, they were just being good citizens, I see.

I'm actually excited to see how some of our state and local propositions turn out. We know California is going for Obama. Feinstein is up for re-election but it won't even be close. She'll win in a landslide. Pelosi is my rep and in one of those 'only in San Francisco' type things her opponent is a Republican who is running to the left of her. The only question with Pelosi is will she get 80% of the vote. So we have no real excitement as far as the Pres or Congress is concerned.
