OT: TSA travel question

I believe the rule is you can't carry any liquid container over 3 ounces onto the plane. How strict do you think they are on that? I have these 4 ounce containers I want to put a little bit of facial lotion and hair product in. Think they'll let me on or will they go through the suitcase and make me toss them?

They are pretty cool about it, letting you willy nilly change the ounce rule. I don't see you ending up legs spread and getting way up close and personal with a hairy tsa agent.

I'd stick with the 3 ounces. I don't know for sure, because I always, always follow those rules, I have a horror of getting searched. But, I'd want to be safe. Tossing them is not the worst thing that could happen to you.
