Second, I've always wondered about Bush's spanish skills. He seems to be proud of them, and tries to use them in Mexico or to spanish-speaking audiences. I'm not fluent in spanish, but I know enough to have thought that Bush's spanish was horrible. An embarrassment really. And I remember thinking, that if your spanish sucks that bad, you really ought not to try use it for conversational purposes on a spanish speaking audience.

Vicente Fox: Bush is the ‘cockiest guy I have ever met.’
In his new book out Oct. 4, former Mexican President Vicente Fox calls President Bush “the cockiest guy I have ever met in my life.” He also rates Bush’s Spanish skills as “grade-school” level and writes, “I can’t honestly say that I had ever seen George W. Bush getting to the White House.”
