Do you think he might be taken more seriously if he wasn't:

1. Standing in front of a sign proclaiming "NO KING BUT JESUS".
2. Standing next to a fat man clad in a hideous shirt and comical moustache.
3. Dressed for a raucous evening of line dancing.
 
I think his point was the video was funny. Oh my! But of course I can't watch video at work, alas.

actually, at first I thought it was more oklahoma backwoods paranoia because nobody in their right minds would actually believe that legislatures and law enforcement would seriously consider that sort of orwellian scenario. Of course not that i'm seeing some of the more authoritarian positions by people on several message boards as well as the nearly blind obedience to anyone with a badge, it could actually happen and most people would simply bleet as they got in line.
