Sean Harris, senior pastor of Berean Baptist Church in Fayetteville, spoke at length in support of North Carolina's proposed Amendment 1, which would define marriage in the state constitution as between one man and one woman and would outlaw civil unions and domestic partnerships, during an hour-long sermon on Sunday.

"Dads, the second you see your son dropping the limp wrist, you walk over there and crack that wrist. Man up. Give him a good punch."

Ironic isn't it that the arbiters of board morality have spent weeks repeatedly sitting in judgement regarding poet and his claim he'd smack a woman who hit him first, and using his comment as a jumping off point to belittle the guy mercilessly.

Yet not a one of them found anything wrong with a Baptist Minister telling his congregants to beat their children if they display homosexual tendencies.

I tell you, I used to be surprised by the shocking double standard displayed by board Righties...but lately, nothing surprises me any more.
