Just made this thread to comment on how hilarious it is to read Cypress talking about how an argument is sound because it was rooted in the Bible.


I think we all know that two things would be different if Barack Obama were not involved with Pastor Wright--- first of all, no one would give a shit what he said, because no one would care who he is...secondly, he would be dismissed as a fundamentalist and the typical tirades about how awful/contradictory/hypocritical/outdated the Bible is would begin.


But thanks again for making me smile.

In the other thread he is praising (or posting the praises) of "sound theological argument" and comments that are "rooted in the bible" (if I remember the quote correctly).

His crazy comments were crazy to the black people as Falwell is to us. I still think he's an idiot. But it's like how I would defend Muslims against attacks by Christians here, yet if I were a in Kuwait, I would be defending Christianity from the Muslims. You're both very unfair to each other.

Cypriss is a smug idiot, who often praises liberal Christian preachers as "TRUE CHRISTIANS" and then attacks religion. Partisan hackery. In my view, the bible is pretty vague, and open to interpretation, so either side is as valid, or about as valid, as each other. It's one of the reasons I believe it's flawed, because it's so vague as to be meangingless.
