Within the context of your post, you made it sound like he "couldn't" fire him because Pence praised him a lot. I wanted to clarify that he literally could not fire him even if he wanted to.

Oh, I don't think he would be boring. He would be much more conservative on social issues than Trump. In a way, I'd like to see him as president for that reason.

Like the LGBT issue? What about Bible and Creationism classes being mandatory in schools? I am not so sure.

Plenty of people (myself included) would vote for Pence just to keep a Democrat out of the presidency. He doesn't have to praise Trump to get my support or that of many others.

For me, it's less about liking the GOP as much as I can't stand what the Democrats have become.
