The function that Pence will perform at the EC certification is purely ceremonial. It is akin to the person that opens the envelope at the Oscars and announces the winner. Nothing more. Nothing less.

I find it both hilarious and alarming that tRump can claim Pence can simply disregard the verified votes and alter the outcome of the election, and his minions actually believe it.

I am not sure what fascination these simpletons have with tRump, but I am very glad that I never had it.
