Pete Hegseth announced Monday that the Pentagon is taking administrative action to punish Sen. Mark Kelly, a retired Navy captain, by moving to cut his retirement pay for participating in a video where he and other Democratic lawmakers reminded US service members of their duty to refuse illegal orders.

Hegseth said in a post on X that the US military has initiated proceedings to reduce the amount of retirement pay Kelly receives and has issued a secretarial letter of censure, which would stand as a written reprimand but have no practical consequences for the Arizona Democrat.

Right now we have a country being run by people with a school kid's mentality. Our chief executive, the guy with his hand on the button of our nuclear arsenal, is an especially immature, narcissistic, sociopath. But...we are here and have to live with it for the next few years. If enough people wake up to put the House of Representatives in the hands of the Democrats, we might make it.

Mark Kelly deserves better...MUCH better. I hope Trump and the scumbag Hegseth reconsider.

No only good but fucking good!

Trump and his little obedient soldiers cannot win this one. I am sure they know that. Yet they follow through on his orders, as unethical, immoral and illegal as they are. Hegseth cannot get off his Trump brand knee pads to see the world. I hope Kelly sues Trump and Hegseth when it is over.
