Vandalism for Jesus: Pentecostal Christians are burning Australia’s sacred Aboriginal objects because they believe that “traditional Aboriginal culture is a type of devil worship.”


Indeed, the acts of senseless vandalism in the name of Christianity are despicable, but not surprising. There is a long and well established pattern of conservative Christians demonizing and eradicating native cultures around the world. This is just the latest example of Christians behaving badly.

They are no better than the ISIS bastards blowing up sacred historical monuments, buildings, and artifacts in the Mideast.

Australia is pretty sensitive about aboriginal cultures. My guess is that they will have no problem finding lawyers to take care of those rotten people. OTOH, since the perps are aboriginals themselves, it could be that there is nothing to be done about it.

Seriously, how true and strong is your faith if you are threatened by symbols of someone else's?
