People trying to come here aren’t political ideologies. They don’t give a sh*t about Republicans or Democrats but they do understand incentives and if the rhetoric and actions of the President and those in power are viewed as more favorable then is it surprising we have record numbers of people trying to cross?

The issue of immigration is far more nuanced than most are willing to acknowledge because it requires more than simple slogans to address. But the rhetoric of those in power does play a role in decisions made by those choosing between coming or not. Right now we see the results.

Democrats and Republicans are political parties. Left Wing and Right Wing (Lefties and Righties) are ideologies.

That said most "righties" on JPP are so far right they think anyone left of their own ideology is a "Lefty". IMO, that is clearly nuts.
