[h=1]Philadelphia Eagles issue statement on WH disinvite - taking high road by Ignoring Trump[/h]A few hours after President Donald Trump disinvited the Eagles to the White House, the team released a statement that didn’t even mention him.

Instead, the Eagles’ statement was about moving on:

It has been incredibly thrilling to celebrate our first Super Bowl Championship. Watching the entire Eagles community come together has been an inspiration. We are truly grateful for all of the support we have received and we are looking forward to continuing our preparations for the 2018 season.”

Trump could learn what class is from these guys. Unfortunately he's incapable of learning anything new, or even remembering what lies he told 15 minutes ago.

[h=1]Eagles' Zach Ertz to Trump: "Praying before games is being used for your propaganda?!"[/h]Eagles star shames Fox News for twisting photo of him praying to spread Trump ‘propaganda’

Zach Ertz, the star tight end of the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, slammed Fox News on Tuesday for using footage of him praying with his teammates to make it look like they were kneeling during the national anthem.

A Fox News segment that aired Tuesday morning used multiple photos of Eagles players kneeling on the football field. However, these players were not kneeling during the national anthem and were actually praying before the start of the game.

In fact, no Eagles knelt during the national anthem during the 2017 NFL season.

Ertz watched the segment and reacted angrily to photos of him and his teammates being ripped out of context.

[h=1]"Our president is a fragile egomaniac": Philadelphia mayor slams Donald Trump after president takes back ...

White House invitation to NFL champions [/h]
The mayor of Philadelphia has slammed Donald Trump as a 'fragile egomaniac afraid of throwing a party no-one wants to attend' after the president withdrew an invite to the NFL champions.

"These are players who stand up for their causes they believe in and who contribute in meaningful ways to their community.

"They represent the diversity of our nation - a nation in which we are free to express our opinions.

"Dis-inviting them from the White House only proves that our President is not a true patriot but a fragile egomaniac obsessed with crowd size and afraid of the embarrassment of throwing a party to which no one wants to attend.

Thin Skinned Coward ...

Mayor Kenney released the following statement on the recent decision of President Trump to disinvite the Philadelphia Eagles from visiting the White House:

“The Eagles call the birthplace of our democracy home, so it’s no surprise that this team embodies everything that makes our country and our city great. Their athletic accomplishments on the field led to an historic victory this year. Fans all across the country rallied behind them because we like to root for the underdog and we feel joy when we see the underdogs finally win. I’m equally proud of the Eagles’ activism off the field. These are players who stand up for the causes they believe in and who contribute in meaningful ways to their community. They represent the diversity of our nation—a nation in which we are free to express our opinions.

“Disinviting them from the White House only proves that our President is not a true patriot, but a fragile egomaniac obsessed with crowd size and afraid of the embarrassment of throwing a party to which no one wants to attend.

“City Hall is always open for a celebration."

[h=1]Oops - Fox News ripped for misleading photos of Philadelphia Eagles players kneeling[/h]
Fox News apologized Tuesday after receiving a torrent of criticism over the network's use of photos of various players for the Philadelphia Eagles kneeling in prayer, creating the misleading impression that they were demonstrating during the national anthem.

The photos ran during a segment on Monday night, after President Trump announced that he had uninvited the reigning Super Bowl champions from a traditional visit to the White House. As Fox News anchor Shannon Bream explained Trump's decision, which he attributed to the anthem protests that have roiled the league, photos of Eagles players kneeling in prayer were shown on screen.

One of the players pictured, Eagles tight end Zach Ertz, forcefully denounced the network in a tweet on Tuesday morning. "This can't be serious.... Praying before games with my teammates, well before the anthem, is being used for your propaganda?! Just sad, I feel like you guys should have to be better than this...," Ertz said.

Christopher Wallace, the executive producer of Bream's program, issued an apology for the error on Tuesday.

Fox -- and anyone who watches it -- has no shame. It doesn't matter though. They know that their viewers, including the pig in the WH, are stupid and easily led, and will swallow any swill served up to them as long as it has the Fox brand name.
