Saw Hulu has a new show/series coming out about her, the feminist movement the ERA. This was mostly before my time or anything I can remember but for those who were there how big a name was she? Was she a "household" name across the country at any point in time or was she just better known within political circles?
 
She appeared on many Sunday political shows, but her real strength was the power over right-wing groups in financing and mission statements. She fought the women rights amendment providing talking points. She wrote a big selling right-wing book. She was mostly a power behind the rightys.

Vaguely recall the name. Nothing else.
Watched a very good movie, The Wind That Shakes the Barley, set during the Irish Revolution then the Irish Civil War that followed circa 1918 - 1922 (?)
Really enjoy Irish history because it's so damn complicated.
Be sure to take advantage of subtitles . I also printed the plot synopsis when I lost track of the plot. Very helpful.
