pictures of Bush Off the wagon

UPDATE: Some folks are saying that the beer in question may be of the non-alcoholic "Buckler" brew. Also, as one of our commenters notes, there is no such thing as "non-alcoholic" beer. Near beers are low alcohol and alcoholics are advised to stay away from them.

start reading stuff before you defend Bush :)

Near beers have the same alcohol content as bread. Do you really think that is not pertinent?

I would like to see what he was served before I judge. Stop reading liberal blogs and assuming things as well.

With the "liberal" media, liberal blogs are the only place that carry some stuff now-a-days.

We need these liberal blogs to cover the ground that the liberal media has dropped.

Well we should regulate all bread that has an alcohol content over .05%. It is the law. the tests show that bread varies from .04 to 1.9% alcohol. Why have not the righties jumped on this ? We have moremoans sinning unknowingly by eating bread! what a scandal. Mitty will take care of that though.

Darn republican congress let this slide thru, while my grandchildren become alcoholics from eating bread!

I guess the alcohol content of bread explains why bush about choked to death on a pretzel, he was chugging them ;)

It could be a non-alcholic beer. Although, I have no idea how he drinks that stuff. I'd rather chug cough syrup.
I have a friend that drinks it all the time. I think it would be much like Decaffeinated Coffee. A real waste of time.

But from what I have experienced with alkies it is a sign they are off the wagon.
It really depends on the whole "alchy" angle. Different programs treat it differently. As well as it being only an opinion that Bush is an alchoholic. It would take ingesting gallons of low-content beer very quickly to get any adult drunk. It would probably give them water-poisoning before they were able to ingest enough alcohol to actually feel effects.

The idea is the "habit" problem. It can once again create the "habit" that gave you the taste for the real stuff.

you've got it.
it is also used by alikes when they can't drink the real stuff because of people seeing them drink real beer.

President Bush is reportedly spending time resting in his room with a "stomach ailment" which White house spokesman Dan Bartlett defines as "not serious". Nicolas Sarkozy, the French President described him as "slightly unwell".

Said Bartlett: "We're not sure if it was something he ate last night or this morning."

Just a thought, but perhaps Bush's "illness" has something to do with the beer he's seen chugging in these photos.

And....he's back.

ps - I did a quick check and the photo's recent. It's the same jacket/tie combo he was wearing for his meetings with Sarkozy.

I dunno it appeared to be necessary for you Damo.

LOL. There's a lot of tension that goes back and forth between you two. If one of you were a woman, I'd swear you were falling in love. You know, how in the old romance novels, the heroine always says "oh, he's so obnoxious!", and then there is a lot of sparring back and forth, until suddenly...heaving breasts and throbbing something or others.

Darn it Darla, I almost got nauseous over that post....

LOl. Sorry! It's Friday. Don't worry, I only one hour left at work, then I'll be going home, but probably won't post since I'll be getting ready to go out with two of my best and favorite CodePink pals. We are going to drink mojitos and dance, and God knows what else. (because, you know, we could run into Republicans).

So I will be burning all of my Friday exuberance off there, and you won't have to put up with me here. :)
