I'll believe that liberals care about naming public places after KKK members when they get all of Kleagle Byrds' monuments renamed.

West Virginia's a red state and still has Klan members. I'm sure they're proud that Byrd was one of them.

I bet they miss him now that Obama is killing the coal industry and the leading industry in that state.

Red state, eh?

Before 2000, West Virginia had been reckoned as a Democratic stronghold at the national level. From 1932 to 1996, the state only went Republican three times—in the national Republican landslides of 1956, 1972 and 1984.

Both current Senators are Democrats.

It's a red state now.

"But in the past decade or so, “West Virginia has realigned politically with the Deep South, at least in presidential elections,” historian John Alexander Williams said in a June lecture in Charleston marking the state’s 150th anniversary. “Between the 2004 and 2008 presidential elections, a time when voters were trending strongly Democratic in other parts of the nation, 366 of official Appalachia’s 410 counties increased their Republican share of presidential votes.”

In 2012, that trendline cut more deeply. Obama lost the seven West Virginia counties he had carried in 2008. It marked the first time that a major party’s presidential candidate suffered a 55-county shutout."

The KKK might be proud but its has nothing to do with red or blue voting......its you Democrats that must be proud .... thats why you do nothing about it.

Democrats have been electing Byrd since 1946...and he never lost an election after that......and you all have given him nothing but love in Washington DC.....

Thats why we all consider Democrats hypocrites.....because they are.
W.Va. went red in 2000 for Presidents, red in 2010 for House representatives and stayed 100% blue in the Senate as they have for over 50 years.....
to call them a red state is disingenuous at best....

It's a red state now. (Republicans sure as hell didn't elect KKK Byrd...)

Only because those Democratic racists in W.VA. won't vote a black man....and Gore, being the VP of Clinton, the "first black President", didn't help his cause either....

The state is Blue for all practical purposes....

not a current event just another spam thread. And I am not moving it this time. All your bullshit posts are getting closed if you can't put them in the right area.
