Dr. Phil Astin prescribed a 10-month supply of anabolic steroids to Chris Benoit every three to four weeks between May 2006 and May 2007, a Drug Enforcement Administration agent said in an affidavit filed Friday and made public Monday.

Attention politicians and other attention w hores, we already have laws to deal with the Benoit family's death. Please, no grandstanding and no useless hearings. The doctor is being probed and the POS that killed his family is dead.

Focus on bring our troops home, border/port security and getting rid of this deficit.

Well, he really needed to heal from all the wounds his hands were suffering from beating up other people in fake wrestling matches... How was he going to heal without steroids making his forehead and chin huge?!!!

It will be interested to see how the docs lawyers spin it. I'm also interested in whether or not the feds are going to get him on drug dealing charges. That's essentially what he did.

I'm not at all convinced it was steroid related, we have dumbass husbands killing families weekly.
And the whole fuss about them in baseball is juvenille.

I don't know for sure, but he seems to have suddenly snapped, and those sort of mood swings are associated with steroids (and other ailments too, I agree).

Apparently Benoit's wife wanted him to be home more to take care of their kid who had some medical problem, and Benoit couldn't, which was causing friction between the two. I wonder why exactly they did not seek professional care for the kid, and remove that source of tension. . . Money was obviously not a concern.

Mind you, ths is just a supposition, but I think it is quite possible that Since he had an extremely disfunctional son, and it is known that he and his wife had had heated arguements about his treatment. that it went to far,. and he killed her, then realizing what would happen to him, and consequently his son, he killed the boy and then himself.

I had something similar happen between me and my ex-wife (still alive) regarding the treatment of my eldest son who was for all iontents and purposes, a miracle baby and was not expected to survive for long. he is now 53.

That's generally how most murder-suicide's happen. People who commit murder are usually emotionally unstable and likely to commit suicide, so whenever they see their life ruined and all the trouble they've caused they snap.

Perhaps bush will take this path as well.....
