Diversity Makes Greatness
It's more complex than that.

We need more government social programs designed to reduce the urge for people to violate laws.

That's really what 'defund the police' is all about.

It's not just doing away with police.

It is reallocating funds more wisely.

There are people who, through no fault of their own, are brought into this world in a desperate situation without good parenting or a sense of responsibility to the society they are part of.

Unless we have effective government social programs, they are going to mess up.

Working on poverty is a good start. raising the min wage would help.
Providing psychiatric help instead of jail would help. Using sociologists instead of brutal police tactics would help too.
Police in schools actually cause damage to kids making teenage antics into crimes.
Police use brutal police tactics when they are not required.
Police should just do police work.

School programs. That's a good example. Charter and private schools can just throw out the problem kids. Public schools have to really try to educate them.

Police are appropriate and required for certain things.

They cannot be the only solution to law and order.

That's not working.

Question: Why are there really stupid people in society at all?

Kids do stupid teenage things as we all did. With cop in schools, it becomes a legal problem.

Agree. In my state, cops killed a mentally ill man who could have been coaxed to calm down by a professional.
