Poor Flynn

Nov 12, 2018
Flynn publicly stated last December his decision to cop a plea to the single-count process crime was “made in the best interests of my family." He did not elaborate, but a family insider explained that fighting the charge “would have bankrupted us.”

“The justice system, especially in Washington, is all about who has more money and resources,” the family member said. “Clearly, our military family had no chance against the weight of the federal government.”

"It makes me sick every day thinking about it,” Flynn’s relative added, while suggesting Flynn was railroaded.

President Donald Trump's former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, who was fired from his prominent White House job last month, has registered with the Justice Department as a foreign agent for $530,000 worth of lobbying work that may have aided the Turkish government.

He made over half a million as an unregistered foreign lobbyist in 2016, but can't afford lawyers. :(

All these guys feel victimized.........

What difference does it make in a corrupted system in which all lawbreakers can be pardoned?

Well, at least if they support the dictator!

The rest of the world is watching America and it isn't pretty. It's the destruction of one of the world's greatest democracies and most of the people are blind to what is happening.

Trump isn't smart enough by a long way. Unless there is someone a lot smarter in the shadows, it's not going to work.

Honey bunch, are you insinuating that Flynn is really innocent, but had to plead guilty to keep from bankrupting his family?

Nope, that's what Flynn and his apologists are insinuating.

OK, here's another angle ...

March 24, 2017
Retired Army Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn, while serving as an adviser to the Trump campaign, met with top Turkish government ministers and discussed removing a Muslim cleric from the U.S. and taking him to Turkey, according to former CIA Director James Woolsey, who attended, and others who were briefed on the meeting.

The discussion late last summer involved ideas about how to get Fethullah Gulen, a cleric whom Turkey has accused of orchestrating last summer’s failed military coup, to Turkey without going through the U.S. extradition legal process, according to Mr. Woolsey and those who were briefed.

Mr. Woolsey said the idea was “a covert step in the dead of night to whisk this guy away.” The discussion, he said, didn’t include actual tactics for removing Mr. Gulen from his U.S. home. If specific plans had been discussed, Mr. Woolsey said, he would have spoken up and questioned their legality.

If Flynn had been able to rendition Gulen, then he could have afforded lawyers!

Flynn is a traitor to his nation

Pretty easy. Flynn admitted in court that he lied to authorities and promised to tell them all he knows for leniency.
