Good post. Think how much worse Hitler and Nazi Germany would have been had they had the Internet back then. Trump has weaponized what was meant to be a tool for the sharing of data and factual information. Without it, he would still be huckstering on a TV game show.

Hitler used the same tactics with the tools he had at the time. After he came into power, he started using the same tactics Trump does now. Eroding traditional institutions such as public health, universities, using fear as a tactic, weaponizing the law and law enforcement.

Exactly. I read that book "Inside the Third Reich" when it was first available in English. The parallels are chilling.

Just the first one is completely leftist in nature. You use words like fascist simply because you want to instill fear in people. You never explain exactly how Trump's a fascist you just declare it. You people really are this dense aren't you?

He lies and you buy it, with complete disregard for the facts. Immigrant crime. Eating people’s pets. Trans taking over women’s sports. DC crime out of control when it was actually decreasing. On and on.

I left out many of Arendt’s elements of totalitarianism, including a charismatic leader where the party becomes his instrument to instill fear and acquiescence. On and on.

“1500 % reduction in drug prices”
“The US is the only country with mail in voting”
“I turned a valve in LA to give them water”
The lie that we’ve given $350 billion to Ukraine
