Leaving everything that followed aside, just going back to the moment in time it really was goose bump worthy. (and was a hell of a pitch; because as Jeter told Bush beforehand "this is New York Mr. President, they'll boo you if it isn't good". haha)
Great moment. With all his flaws... Bush understand what a leader is supposed to do in a crisis. He was, and remains, a decent man. Flawed, but decent. Like most of us. Sadly, the same cannot be said about the last President.
