You're so effing stupid, consistently I might add. Why did Obama give the mullahs so much money anyway? It was buying some time money that only fools, like you, think otherwise.
It was their money to start with. Do you think we should have kept it?

"Kirk, founder of conservative student group Turning Point USA, was likely referring to the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which granted Iran access to frozen assets.

This was not funding given to Iran. The amount quoted refers to foreign assets that belonged to Iran and were frozen by sanctions imposed to impede its nuclear program. The JCPOA was also an international agreement between Iran and a number of major world powers, including the U.S."

He’s been told this on more than one occasion. They all have, but they continue not being able to retain the facts.

It was the Shah's money. He's dead. We should have kept it.

Obama was, and is, an amateur as a diplomat. He failed miserably on the world stage other than to be liked by Leftist leaders.

He never forgets , just like a true paranoid.

Yes I do, Iran was near bankrupt and that money helped considerably to buy new weapons. That money should have been used as compensation for all the terrorism initiated Iran and for the Carter hostage crisis.

Color me unsurprised that you'd take the position of keeping something that's not yours.

On his worst day Obama was a better diplomat than trump on his best day. In fact, it would be hard to call trump "diplomatic" on any day. He's just a whiny baby who has a hissy fit when people don't toe his line.

Yes it was their money that we withheld because they sponsored TERRORISM. Giving that money back cost American soldiers lives.

The money existed prior to the ayatollahs taking over in a revolution. Therefore, it was the Shah's money not the ayatollah's.

Give me an example of that.

On the other hand,

How much cash did Obama give Iran?
You should say. how much cash did he return to Iran that was theirs.

“First of all, former President Barack Obama didn’t give “150 billion in cash” to Iran.

The nuclear agreement included China, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union, so Obama didn’t carry out any part of it on his own. The deal did lift some sanctions, which lifted a freeze on Iran’s assets that were held largely in foreign, not U.S., banks. And, to be clear, the money that was unfrozen belonged to Iran. It had only been made inaccessible by sanctions aimed at crippling the country’s nuclear program.

Secondly, $150 billion is a high-end estimate of the total that was freed up after some sanctions were lifted. U.S. Treasury Department estimates put the number at about $50 billion in “usable liquid assets,” according to 2015 testimony from Adam Szubin, acting under secretary of treasury for terrorism and financial intelligence.”
