Trump has no trouble at all hanging our negotiators out to dry...Steve Witcoffs credibility has been completely burned up over this being done to him multiple times....and he is supposed to be a good friend of Trump.
Most likely this was suggested to the Iranians, they had zero interest, and now Trump lies claiming it never happened and of course we would never do such a thing.
This sort of thing is exactly why the world is rapidly deciding that talking to us is useless.
