Bill Maher backs former Clinton adviser into a corner as he points out the left’s HYPOCRISY on what they said about the first Iran strike
.PAUL BEGALA: “There was no imminent threat. The President had ‘obliterated,’ in his words, their nuclear threat.”
MAHER: “Well, excuse me, but he said he did, and everybody on the left then said, ‘He’s just talking through his ass. We don’t know.’ So which is it?”
BEGALA: “I don’t think it was obliterated.”
MAHER: “Let’s not argue about it. We don’t know. We know they dropped a big bomb on it. It could have, and it could not have.”
BEGALA: “It probably set back a lot.”
MAHER: “Yes.”
BEGALA: “Which was progress. That’s a good thing.”
So he goes from saying Trump didn’t obliterate it… to admitting it caused serious damage and “that’s a good thing.”
Amazing how quickly the Dem argument folds under even a little pushback.
