Princess Kate pregnant, hospitalized for morning sickness!

Many ordinary folk get turned away from the hozzie during labour and give Birth on't Elland bypass, AKA the reserve maternity ward of the Huddersfield NHS trust!!
 
It's something serious...not ordinary morning sickness so she's under care. Something that in civilized countries is available to everyone, not just royals. I hope all goes well for them.

In the UK it wouldn't be available to joe public unless they opted to pay for private care.

Regularly women are sent home from hospital 9cm dialated, told not to return until they are 10.

The elland bypass has been nicknamed the reserve maternity ward!

Just last week, a woman, post miscarriage was discharged in freezing weather, no wallet, no money, in bloodsoaked pajamas.
This is the norm in the NHS.
The staff, being government employees are very arrogant and often forget that most patients have paid to be treated.
Imagine the RMV attitude from your healthcare provider!!.

Nausea shouldn't cause her too much difficulty, all those years of bulimia!

My wife worked up to the birth of our lad, left her office, drive to the hospital and gave birth 20 mins later!!

I think Kate is taking this princess thing too seriously.
I hope there isn't a pea under her mattress!

You are such a fool, there has been many a tale told on here of people being charged 5 or 6 hundred dollars for an ambulance to go a short distance. My wife had both our sons on the NHS, one in Poole and the other in Sheffield. Couldn't complain about either experience, she had long labours for both, around 20 hours and nobody told her to go home and come back. You are typical of so many barrack room lawyers, you try to take a particular situation and then attempt to extrapolate that to the general.

Many a tale told, sure, ambulances cost money, that's the nature of buisness, an ALS ambulance costs $1500. Per trip, the distance is not relevant.
Some cities run their own fleets, Boston for example.
No costs are incurred for their use.

The NHS is shit, my granddaughter was born in a back stairwell at Huddersfield royal infirmary, on a canvas stretcher.
My daughter nearly died during delivery and was left paralyzed.
The only help she revived during labour was from a hospital porter who had Down's syndrome.
Shortage of beds, delivery suites, midwives and doctors.

The NHS is a complete bag of shit that the most filthy backward third world country would be ashamed of!

Now two of my kids were born in NHS hospitals, 20+ years ago.
It was bad then, but bad as bad as now after Tony B Liar fucked the whole shit show up.
That's both the NHS and the entire nation.

It seems to me that your whole diatribe about the NHS centres around one hospital in Huddersfield, my experiences are totally different. I would further add that the US system is unsustainable as it is gobbling up as near as damn it 20% of GDP and heading northwards.
 
There is no system yet in the USA,
There's millions of systems, each tailored by the customer to suit individual needs or choices.

No rationing, no waiting lists, no bed shortages.

All the NHS is shit, and I mentioned 3 hospitals not one.

She doesn't have traditional morning sickness, she has a very dangerous condition that threatens not only her own health, but could cause the fetus to die. So STFU.
 
I had actually never heard of this condition, but it's not "morning sickness". I read about it yesterday within the news reports, it was interesting. Only 1 to 2 percent of the women who suffer morning sickness (not all do) get this condition, and it's dangerous. I was also reading the comments on the HUFFPO yesterday (I always like to read about women's real-life experiences, you'd be amazed what you learn though I know here we need everything mansplained to us) and this one woman posted that she had it. And everyone told her to stop complaining that "everyone" gets morning sickness, everyone throws up, stop being a drama queen, etc. But she had this, not morning sickness, and she waited too long to seek medical help. She lost her baby and never had another one.

People I think should ask questions first before shooting off their mouths. Kinda hard to read the stories I was reading yesterday and make an asshole post about being " a tad nauseous". Though I know some of you work very hard at being assholes so who knows.

It's morning sickness, no ordinary British citizen would be hospitalized for it!
Even if it was life threatening.
Particulary in the 1st trimester.
