Everyday I log on here and I see some new dipshit post talking about some stupid soundbyte AOC said. The amount of minutia you morons will consume is nauseating.

AOC is in place to serve a very specific role, and that is to shift the overton window. She is sheephearding for the democrats, rounding up all the progressives to eventually bring in the fold when an establishment candidate gets the nomination. She is purposely saying batshit crazy things because when Kamala Harris or Beto or whoever gets the nomination, peoples impression will be "oh... well THIS democrat seems normal, he isn't CRAZY like AOC is, there are plenty of sensible democrats left"

I said something similar recently. Both sides have nuts, but when you send out the hounds every time they speak, you just end up giving rise to them. We literally have Trump supporters that hold their nose, because how much liberals can't stand him. You could end up with fringe up front, or it can also normalize other candidates. Part of me would love to see the Trump supporters have to deal with a lefty version of Trump, but the majority of me knows it's all downhill from that train of thought.
