Daylight Saving Time (DST) in the United States typically starts on the second Sunday of March.

In 2025, that would be March 9.

On this date, clocks "spring forward" by one hour at 2:00 AM local time, shifting from Standard Time to Daylight Saving Time.

Since today is March 6, 2025, DST will begin in just a few days!

Don't forget, retards!
Hawaii does not observe Daylight Saving Time (DST). The state opted out of DST under the Uniform Time Act of 1966 and has remained on Hawaii Standard Time (HST), UTC-10:00, year-round. This decision is largely due to Hawaii's proximity to the equator, where the length of daylight varies little throughout the year, making the time shift less beneficial. So, no clock adjustments for Hawaii—consistent time all the way!

What kind of "emergency" would necessitate JPP being informed of your whereabouts?
Not sure. I’ll need time to think about that.
But I have to put down a telephone number “in case of emergency “ on so many forms. Usually it’s my wife’s but I’m not doing that here.
