In the last 4 decades more than twice as many people have died in psychiatric hospitals than in all the wars since 1776. One million deaths.
Insurance companies have paid out 69 billion dollars last year.

(28:00 – 30:00) It’s been described as science without a soul. Racism is inseparable from psychiatry. Black slaves who tried to run away suffered from a disease which whipping would cure. Benjamin Rush, the father of psychiatry, coined the disease “Negritude”.

(59:00 – 1:00:00) In 1956 a bill was passed in the House of Representatives to build a psychiatric facility in Alaska. Public outrage resulted in the Senate voting against it.

(1:24:00 – 1:26:00) In 1987 500,000 children were diagnosed as having ADD/ADHD. By 1994 that number soared to 4.4 million. (Check out the doctor attempting to define ADD/ADHD.)

Involuntary incarceration. Electroshock therapy. Lobotomy.

It would be nice to get to the bottom of the conditions which have grown so much in diagnosis over this time period, such as ADD/ADHD, Bipolar, and so forth.

The documentary notes there are 374 disorders listed in the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual [of Mental Disorders] )

With choices like that there's no reason for anyone to be sane. :)

On a more serious note it mentions that the kids involved in school shootings, including Columbine, used or were currently on medication.


 
After Columbine, there was a huge national stigma thrown on Ridilin, and people everywhere would tell you how harmful it is for our children.

Whether we look at the monuments built by supposedly primative people able to determine the cardinal points to calendars able to forecast lunar eclipses 500 years into the future the knowledge and technology involved results in one of two conclusions. Either visitors gave us a hand or the orthodox evolution of man is out of whack. Considering the evidence for the evolution of man I'm inclined to go with the first explanation.

Psychic prediction? Lunar eclipses are based on mathmatical calculations. The same with building monuments corresponding to the cardinal points.

Who knows what else they found out mathmatically? It appears they left as opposed to being destroyed. Hmmmm.....
