That is one of the dumbest posts I have ever seen. It boggles the mind how stupid that is.
A partnership is not trading. We are not even getting to the policy questions, but rather the basic definition of terms. It is like debating whether Democrats have caused goldfish to be the biggest mammal... Goldfish are not mammals.
A partnership is a manor of holding equity, not trading it. Even entering into a partnership could not be insider trading, because partnerships need to be applied for. For there to be insider trading the equity needs to be publicly traded, which partnerships by definition are not.
