Punched Seattle teen apologizes to police officer

SEATTLE – A Seattle teen shown on video shoving a police officer who then punched her in the face has apologized to the officer in a private meeting.

Seattle police say Officer Ian Walsh accepted the apology Friday.

Separately, the King County prosecutor charged the 17-year-old girl as a juvenile with third-degree assault, which is punishable by a maximum 30 days in detention.

she absolutely deserved it. bitch needs to learn some respect. kids these days, who taught them that fighting and struggling/grabbing police officers is ok?
 
Cops can't afford to let aggressive punks get too close, because of how their guns are frequently grabbed and they and/or others get shot, which is why they will act as he did. That said, since the teen learned a lesson and already suffered getting punched and media attention, I think he should request that the prosecutors drop charges...

Appropriate response would be to shove her away, not to hit her out of pure anger for sadistic pleasure as an evil conservative would be. If it was out of anger, he should be let off. If it is out of sadistic pleasure he should be declared a conservative and executed without trial as soon as possible, as you would squash an insect that invaded your home.
