USC gets two year ban on bowl games and loses scholarships because Pete Carrol is a cheater... Reggie Bush a crook... etc...
No wonder they also want to add TX, OK, OK State, TX Tech, A&M... they could use teams that understand how to play football to come into the puss 10 and man it up.
So essentially the Pac 10 champs will go something like this upon completion of the expansion....

At the same time, the little Ten just became a legitimate conference once again. Adding Big Red to the mix just solidified their standing as a real football conference. I doubt they pull off the Notre Dame bid, but will instead pick up Missouri, Rutgers, Syracuse and Pitt to round it off into a 16 team super conference.
Losing three, the Big East will respond by plucking Kansas up for bball purposes and most likely pull in K State (because Kansas will ask for them to tag along) The Big East will then have to scrounge around for a legit football program to add to the mix.
