We are all snowflakes. Any illness can be very dangerous to you and not someone else in your family. You do not want to deliberately get Corona like some rightys are urging,
You don't. Like Vegas, just play the odds. It's about 8 chances out of 10 that you'll have minimal to no symptoms...which is not to say you won't be contagious.
About 1 chance in 5 that you'll be as sick as a dog, perhaps with some long-term lung or heart problems. About 1 or 2 chances out of 100 that you'll end up on a refrigerated truck behind the Hospital. Those are averages. Americans over 65 or with health-compromising illnesses have a greater chance of becoming very sick or dying.
FWIW, I think both my wife and I had it (me first, her few days later). I was sick for about 3 days, her 4. No puking, just nauseas. Fever, chills, loss of appetite, headache, body ache. I've had a worse case of the flu. It's possible it was some other virus and not COVID. Neither of us were tested; we just self-quarantined.
Additionally, IIRC, this forum has lost 3 prominent long-term members for unknown reasons...and, no, they weren't banned.
