Questions a leftist can answer

I have a number of reasons why I never ban anyone from any thread that I create. One of them is that I've found in my experience that most of the leftist moron trolls one comes across actually DO say something intelligent every once in a while. It is typically a GREAT while between their bouts of intelligence, but it does happen from time to time.

Another one is that rebutting their stupidity is as easy as pie. It is child's play.

Suppose it isn't any surprise that Fox didn't mention any of the Trump Industries interest in China in their cover, also a story that Fox would have never done while Trump was President

Admirable, but ain't happening, too much money involved, as noted above, called "capitalism," and you aren't getting any input from the MAGA militia here, you are asking them to exchange content

What has this to do with the thread? Pivot fallacy. TDS.

It wasn't too difficult.
You either have to go overseas to get the CHEAP LABOR. Or, ... IMPORT CHEAP LABOR here.

(Did you know the American Flag is based on the Flag of the first Global Corporation?)

No, you don't have to go overseas or import anyone from overseas.

While the various flags of the East India Trading Company used red and white stripes (of varying numbers), there seems to be no significance to any meaning of them known. It may have been some sort of representation of nations or regions serviced by this trading company.
There were never any stars on these flags. The upper left field usually used St Andrews cross or the British Cross.

Lots of flags use stripes. There was nothing new about the flag the East India Trading Company used.

I do love seeing people (even lefties like you) making use of the tactic of opening up a parallel open discussion thread when they've been banned from one that they wish to participate in. Censorship just plain doesn't work.

The 'canton' part of the Flag was replaced with 'a New Constellation'.

"During the American Revolution, the Continental Congress adopts a resolution stating that “the flag of the United States be thirteen alternate stripes red and white” and that “the Union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new Constellation.” The national flag, which became known as the “Stars and Stripes,” was based on the “Grand Union” flag, a banner carried by the Continental Army in 1776 that also consisted of 13 red and white stripes. According to legend, Philadelphia seamstress Betsy Ross designed the new canton for the Stars and Stripes, which consisted of a circle of 13 stars and a blue background, at the request of General George Washington. Historians have been unable to conclusively prove or disprove this legend."

See Grand Union Flag to further your education.

"The "Grand Union Flag" is considered to be the first national flag of the United States of America. Like the current U.S. flag, the Grand Union Flag has 13 alternating red and white stripes, representative of the Thirteen Colonies. Wikipedia
Design: Thirteen horizontal stripes alternating red and white; in the canton, the Flag of Great Britain"

That is called Capitalism.

The problem is not capitalism.

The problem is that:

1) the Chinese Communist Party does not honor copyright laws.
2) the Western governments are far too lenient with sharing/selling technology with/to China.
Especially the governments of the West (America/EU/etc.)
That is the main reason that China's military has exploded in it's technological capabilities over the past 20+ years.
The West develops the technology.
The Chinese buy it and reverse engineer it with no regard for copyright laws.
3) the Western boycott/obsession with punishing Russia has forced them to turn to China and share all of their technological advances.
Further exacerbating the situation.
4) lobbyists in Washington/EU have succeeded in forcing politicians to look the other way over the above practices.

The solution is obvious (imo) - a full, economic boycott of China by NATO.
Until:
a) they pay restitution for releasing the Covid-19 virus and all the financial damage it did.
Say in the order of $10 trillion (which will get talked down to about $5 trillion).
b) they sign ironclad agreements to fully honor and enforce western copyright laws. And perhaps pay restitution for those as well.

The boycott would simply be NATO navies blockading all sea approaches to and from China.
The VAST majority of it's trade is by sea.
And the majority of their GDP is still through international trade.
Without either - the country will, eventually - be brought to it's knees.

Allow food and medicine in, but nothing else (Russia will sell them all the oil/natural gas they need anyway).

With respect, the Chinese Communist Party refusing to honor copyright laws is nothing to do with 'capitalism'.

Good day.

Good day.

All good points and correct. However the question is what we should do about those US corporations that do businesses in China instead of here.

Have the MSM (on both sides) do their frigging jobs and put pressure on federal bureaucrats/politicians to take China to task for this.

Trump had the right idea...sort of.
But he implemented it badly with his tariffs.
That is not the answer.

A full boycott is (imo).

Get the military involved.
Make it a 'national defense' and 'patriotic' issue.
Get all the ignorant masses revved up about 'making China pay' for both unleashing Covid AND for flagrantly, ignoring copyright laws to the determent of American/EU economies.

And thank you for bringing this up.

It needs to be discussed FAR more than it is.
