This is good news, and also hilarious.
The threat of tariffs is undermined if you make a big announcement on Truth Social, but then quietly tiptoe away from implementing those tariffs in the ensuing weeks.

He has spent the last five months telling Putin he is just about ready to get tough with him, but then Trump always backs down.
He was going to send Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine until Putin called him, And said he wanted to talk.
Good negotiating would’ve been to send the Tomahawks, then talk.
