It uses miniature jet engines, so the sounds should be real albeit possibly enhanced for the video.

What about this RC model of a Airbus A380? It cost almost $13,500 for 4 Jetcat P120 turbines, then about $5,000 in materials, another $5,000 for other hardware, $2,000 for the radio controls, retractable gear, another $5,000. Oh and it has an 18 foot wingspan!
