Well....ya know these militias have been there own worst enemies.

I aint exactly forgotten Tim McVeigh's and his accomplices connection with the michigan militia.

They have. Several militias contributed supplies, money, and men for Katrina. And I know my chapter has offered to send people to Chile and Haiti. But you rarely see that published. Because it doesn't sell.

The right is all rage. They have been for thirty years. Their anger has replaced rational thinking, and has been to substantial detriment to the national interest. I don't see what's new here.

To play devils advocate replace militias with muslims and do you think the sentiment would be the same? Look at the efforts we go to show Islam as a religion of peace despite extremist actions. Does anyone do that for the militias?

Because Green Peace doesn't have branches calling themselves Green Peace and advocating racism or secession/overthrow from/of the gov't.

Militias that do good need to advertise better. If any of their membership are advocting the teabagging and birther nonsense, they're going to get a bad rep.
