Again Sarah Palin was making the point that you could see Russia from somewhere in Alaska, in response to a question to her about Russia.

It was a painfully stupid thing for her to say RIGHTLY parodied by SNL with the 'Russia from house' comment.

Saying 'Russia from Diomede Island" makes it no better. But you are too stupid to realize why.

You can see it from Alaska, from that island. It is within the horizon view, not over the horizon.

She wasn't wrong.

From the beginning i said the point of the satire WAS that could see Russia from points in Alaska.

That is NOT what they were making fun of Palin for. It was that simply being able to SEE Russia was her answer to a question of how being in Alaska and the proximity to Russia would be of value to her as VP.

To which the parody mocked RIGHTLY Palin's reply with 'I can see it from my House'.


You are so stupid you do not understand what they were mocking. It was not the physical location of Russia with regards to Alaska or the ability to SEE it.

People who live within site of Canada or Mexico are not qualified to be in government just because they can see those places.
