in spring? so if there is a late freeze in spring when the blossoms are there it kills the future apples?

we have Whitetail up here but about a month ago, for about 2 weeks straight we had some Mule deer in the meadow across the way.... the biggest ears i have ever seen in my life! and they are NOT even suppose to be up here!!! it was cool!

Yes if the buds are out or the blooms and it freezes it kill the fruit.
got any Elk ? We have some here now due to restocking efforts.

ours bloom in may/early june....unlikely to frost them over, here near the coast it is warmer than inland maine.

do elk have big ears? maybe these were elk? if not, then no, haven't seen any, certain they are here though!

Elk are BIG and the bulls have huge racks of antlers.
