After today's ruling that Cam Newton is elgible and did nothing wrong because it was his father who solicited money the NCAA has decided to give Reggie back his Heisman Trophy because it was Reggie's step-father who took benefits from the wanna be marketing agent.

Oh wait, that's not going to happen because the NCAA can do whatever the hell it wants.

Talk about pandora's box, the NCAA has opened a helluva box.

If the player didn't know then its ok? WTF? When does the player ever know?

In one move the NCAA has created cover for the middleman in every player brokering deal ever.

Let the high dollar recruiting begin.

Seriously right? You just have to think some big dollar signs went off in the heads of some big time recruits parents. Best case you get the money and no one knows. So far it looks like worse case you get told as a parent you get limited involvement with the team/school. For a family coming from very limited means that might be a great risk/reward.

The big NCAA probation for Alabama involved a booster paying a coach to steer a player to the Tide.

In the long, long history of outrageously bad decisions made by the NCAA this one is the worst.

Cawacko, OT but we just got the news that our ex-Steeler Jeff Reed signed with the 49ers.

If he straightens out his act, you guys just got a mighty fine kicker.

Very nice thank you. Isn't your stadium one of the hardest to kick in because of all the swirling winds or something like that?
