Everyone agreed that something needed to be done....

Republicans, Democrats, INdependents....

Those who were against it basically said... we need to do something, but this something is not what we want.

The Insurance companies paid TUNS of money to support a marketing plan that basically promoted the idea...

Lets scrap this plan and then address the problems.

WELL, that was like 12 years ago, the Republicans were in power much of that time... NUTHING... and now Liberals try again to do somethign about this huge and growing problem and ....

and whats there responce...

Everyone misspells words but when you do it as frequently as Jarod does it really makes you wonder. Jarod are you trying to break into hip-hop where rappers misspelling the title of their songs is considered a cool thing?

I cant spell, Ive tried very hard to learn to spell. I had many teachers tell me because of that I would not be able to graduate H.S.. Dispite that I graduated from Auburn University and Law School.

I was once diagnosed with Dislexia, but who knows, you can get disgnosed with anything. All I really know is that, like many intelegent people, I cant spell, and it is dumb to judge people based on that ability, especally when you know what the intent of the word was.

your regularity with regards to misspelled words seems more than just simple misspelling. its like you can't remember simple words like, "ton" or "nothing"...these aren't words usually misspelled. i appreciate your answer, i will do my best to say no more about it. but if you want rap someone's intelligence, and then you misspell intelligence, you can expect an irony laugh jarod

Understood, it does not bother me unless people use it as an excuse to dismiss an otherwise vaild argument or point.

Understood, it does not bother me unless people use it as an excuse to dismiss an otherwise vaild argument or point.

It is very difficult to look at the posts of Topspin and yourself, and not simply dismiss you both. Even though I am an M. Ed. student, who has studied learning disabilities such as reading, writing, and spelling, it is still really hard to take you guys seriously.

In my part, its because I was a pre-school student who was trained in early childhood literacy, and had a speech pathologist working with me (due to an overly concerned mother). Due to this, or natural ability (who can say when I was immersed at such an early age?), I have always excelled in this area, and thus have a natural tendency to dismiss it as a simple activity for the mind.
