Republican Establishment Rallies Against the Religious Conservative...

There has always been a symbiotic relationship between the corporate Republicans and the religious Republicans.

The corporate Republicans needed the religious Republicans as the foot soldiers, the lemmings to do their bidding. Every once in a while throwing them a bone such as a ban on late term abortions....

But we always knew the corporate Republicans were running the show.... Whether it was Bush II, Bush I, Reagan, Ford, Nixon etc....

Now that Mike Huckabee has gotten the lead the Republican corporate establishment is in a panic...Thats why there has been such huge attacks recently on Huckabee from Fox News, Drudge Report, Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, National Review, Heritage Foundation.... etc....


These personalities and organizations all represent the Establishment Republican Party and they know that Mike Huckabee is not one of them...So they are all in a panic, this is all about control.... Mike Huckabee wont take orders from them and therefore they lose all their influence...

As Marc Ambinger (the blogger) has noted the Establishment Republican Party doesnt mind if its Giuliani, Romney, Thompson or McCain cause they know they can order them around.... It does however mind a Southern sweet talking man from Hope....

This is the first time I can ever remember agreeing with much of what CK has to say but I think he is pretty much spot on here.
 
They should not worry, they can control Huckabee as well.
He is a politician.

But the real problem is he might be too honest and once he finds out some of the truths....

Likely true but I like to see the likes of Sean Hannity act nervous and really not know what to say when Huckabee's rising poll numbers are mentioned. Kinda funny.

His numbers won't last. He will not be a factor when it is all said and done.
