The Republican governor of Arkansas said Donald Trump was 'politically and morally responsible' for last year's January 6 Capitol riot during a Sunday television interview.

Asa Hutchinson's most direct condemnation of the former president over the riot yet comes just a few days after the House select committee investigating the attack held its first in a series of six hearings presenting its findings.

Most likely the majority of the GOP know fully well that Trump is responsible for January 6th and that it was an attempt to circumvent the Constitution and negate the vote of the American people. Problem is that few will admit, nor act upon it, fearful of suffering the wrath of Trump. Even today, those that do, are quick to say lets move on and forget the past, to deal with the problems facing Americans today
